What is the point of this. It's seeing nothing. music is just not coming. the idea of making is great but what is it. it sits with contempt for other things; it ripens in the mind but it doesn't change. the hours have past from a point in time and it's all the same. What is achieved by that? the execution. do away. old methods, nothing; new, something. Need of talent and inspiration, need of force and desire. Get of line. The isle has holes. i am not standing before god. this is music and i must enjoy.

His artwork I discovered as I was looking for a means to an end on my projected album. I knew him well before then and was almost clueless to his 'other handed' talent (the Other being guitar). His art in my mind is color and contrast, large proportions and a natural tone in it's craft. I suppose i would have related it to my music at the time; sounds on sounds, art and sound. But enjoyable in their completely different aspects. Check him. The Cover can be described as Paper, multiple earth tones, shreds pasted as a flap with string clutch. And a note page with strip of paper latch through center of cd, 'holder', on either side. Recyclable and could last a lifetime. I will hand write certain detail to go along with the album and artwork.
The Poster as you can see in an earlier blog 'Field day posters' were a separate project with Alexandra Barao and Leland Jackson. They were hand sprayed with paint on a 11x14 size hemp and recycled medium weight paper. They collapse as a slip to either protect the album cover or as a miniature poster for your wall.

The last leg has been up to me and It is still weighing on what to do with them. I want to include random hand written words recorded from thoughts of the album or before written down. Show a little more depth to it's meaning of 'Field'.

I want to thank everyone for downloading the album as of yet and those who may still do so. Please enjoy and get in touch for the collectors Artwork with album work. The cd is one of my own.

Is just over 53 minutes of Synth and effects/modulation. Originally recorded to tape then bounced to program for editing/mixing.
It was meant to entertain two people with one instrument. Recorded spring 2009.

only a month and so

My next presentation is Aaron Synth Monolithic Stereophonic Extravaganza. Non stop, side A and side B. blind bat pushes the boundaries of inter-exploratory design and wonderful color resonating off tape hiss. Other times you can't imagine the sounds and feel mud under your feet. It just sounds good over and then over.

On their tour of the Turnpike and NYC in early ?2008?, here is a rare recording of Kat Morgan's Right Eye

Also, in similar contrast, from richmond I had recorded these live sessions including other friends. Including: Jesse Paige, Leland Jackson, Rafi Taylor and in loosely titled 'new year' Richie S. and JJ with Leland.

'Returning' gave me the availability of my electric which is only down to one because my other is broken. Which i like a lot and do not have the money to fix it. This left me with my rather buzzy electric with less versatility to ride on. I'd say it first began with acoustical properties but then more and more it grew into an electric and effects phase which has lead me to my current position in music making 'Summer Collection' and in relation my blog. 'Returning' not only has the simplicity I was searching for but the monotonous tones that somehow change over time. I really think that this is a true step from 'From the Basement' (my first album) to 'Returning'. In that i mean it's not my desire, or my skill, or anything that makes me play music. It's the step that relates back to the first one. Kinda like it was left off with many ideas and now they have come out with a full thrust. Now to explain how the sounds are similar. I like the idea of using effects to transpose my guitar in another state from the true tone of the guitar. Also there weren't all but one or two takes and less multiple tracking. The sounds needed a little originallity from an unoriginal guitar sound. I just suppose they are very unique and that's why i like them.

Lengthy two part session with rhythm and guitar and woodstock. It's fun and relaxing and sometimes loud. Take with you anywhere in a bag or out of a bag. It's nice to know the beat don't stop for about 20 minutes and 25 minutes on the second leg.

Let me explain a little about my recent recordings. First and foremost it has become an adventure into the line of effects and the design of looping. Based off of hourly sessions most tracks are taken out of context and post recording effect to an MP3. I've become more aware in the process of setting up the line of effects from the send of the 12 channel mixer by manipulating the state of the recording routed through speakers or off the main mix. I prefer the amplifiers because of it's vulnerability to record dead space inside the room (isn't always dead) in which i am recording. When one sound is cut off by the air in which we breathe, back into a mic to be recorded. This i believe is a natural sort of wholesomeness rather than just routing from one machine to another. Then, after a few weeks of recording and determining the likes and dislikes of different pedals and ways to route the pedals it is becoming a greater part of the texture of the recordings.
In all I feel like i'm becoming more comfortable to sustain this environment of recording and to add instruments in time, rather than; the favorite guitar. Thanks to Gary Morris for providing the ability to create this set-up. We hope to create more sessions under a certain name. fase face or arsefase or something face. I'm looking forward to creating more sensible tracks to break down into an album of streaming looping conscience.

For the mean time check out the roughly 20 minute track. More to follow this.

F, making the mark in history, is surely to not dissolve as easily to understand what F is. Or on F it could not bare the form to freely discuss the figures it represents. F is a guitar with stereo recording. Beyond F is meaning too much.

In the winter it's much easier to think about not doing something, because it's cold outside. But in the warm air, it's much harder to think of not doing something because it makes you vulnerable to moving and being moved by things. Everything is in creation and alive. No other way around it. In our choice of something nice or something angry we are still causing an affect and then again we might choice our consequences. So be careful what you do and know that the winter is not the same.

For now you don't have to decide i got the music for you. To drop it to you on the internet is not something i'm desperately proud of. It's a means of connection and to allow more of the listeners to come and feed off the feast. and it's going through the summer. I don't want to stop and maybe there will be no end. But what would we do different, given the chance.

Some long some short some round some flat. I might as well live in a junk yard. but you know i got all the good parts.

The summer begins soon. The lay of the lands stand still and growing into an ever progressive pace that not foreseen unwinds in a tumbling backwards from the hill becoming too steep and it all ends. the land. the growth. and the stillness.
Catch some previews of the summer collection beginning to flourish. Here and LATER

It's not the biggest day of my life. but really hers. and the music should be somewhere in between. It's a great movement forward in life. A progression we all can enjoy for the weekend. To creating and bringing new life. Now for some new music. I must move on past myself to get ahead of everything else. I hope to see more people soon. It's like living in a cave and trying to find the america. still taking out trash :)

in the light glowing about the head

There are birds flying in a neighbors home with clean porcelain and happy company. Nice! Warming air and cool vibrations! It is spring and here we engage the sun in sunset park. the actual park. Laying out in the early afternoon. Flying a kite with no wind; in which the kite is in length of over 5 meters. Wind prevailing in the late afternoon and four boys of brother and cousin relation wanting all a hand at flying the subject. There was drawing with colors and paper and even a game of backgammon. All the while keeping the kite in the air. The boys know both english and spanish. Maybe a little more spanish. They made sure even gary's phone was used as either a toy or a weapon at any given moment. Killed was a semi favorite for one and others maybe bored and another collecting information. I happened to collect some sound samples of them holding gary at gun-point; with an airplane attached to the opposite end of the gun. Damn kids.
Ah all is well we told them we had to leave and they returned our stuff and said that they have to leave to. We say goodbye.

In need of consistency. Riding the bike long distance is good to put on a few pounds. Also to help my logic and patience. I will keep this in mind when playing music. More will power. Here are some photos of ny down the bay. looking up the bay.

-Imagine having to watch a clock on the wall.- The second hand keeping consistent rhythmic seconds, into minutes, into hours. For days you have not averted from the wall, none the less. But, time has no patience in spontaneity. When an arm has to move. I believe in all circumstance. No matter what place in time or of the earth, you are, your arm should and will have to move. Now say the arm wants to be like the clock's and move in synchronization. Tooling with time, skipping over each second; breathing in to fill the space. -Whatever might make clocks and people sync in popular succession?- Is there no greater time in a smaller faction? Like jumping around on a piano and then doubling the time but with one more note. Thus, having a rapid succession of notes being sprayed into the ears with a round sense. This feels comfortable and almost not recognizable, like a sped-up vinyl spewing jazz. Stand at a distance and it sounds closer to the original thought; yea it's that guy or no it's def. davis. From any point of view, that arm had to move. Now if arm could speak it would say time. Need time to heal, to get strong. But, it still knows when to move. Some impulse that comes from the brain; through your nerves and then your muscles; and back to your brain. Some move quicker, stronger and possibly more impulsive. Like it takes certain magical chemicals to release the toxin to the arm to make fingers blush with fluid or cat like movement. In each finger is held there space and time.
Lately music is a challenge. The intention of playing has risen to a greater awareness. Unlike the arm, my attention to time has frayed into particles of stretched out periods where at length lying parallel they are completely different. Time has just split. A question i ask myself, do we not like all of ourselves? as do other humans? Complete absorbency of mind and body and soul. Are people really in popular succession? It is effort, I realize, to be anyone's gain. Fortunately for me I slow down. Sensory of the mind has short or longer waves on a map. Simple. in a wave the shorter it is the longer it takes to come. now increase the wave height and it's much faster. Many impulses stretching at length, or in short. Covering each other's notion and erratically bouncing off each other. -This does not look like an arm.- I enjoy these things. Where it may not always seem like rhythmic stature, it has a presence all it's own. It can sound the same, but in time it appears differently. Like a monotonous child belting lyrics to their most favorite hip-hop song and his voice skips over his heart beat. Will his heart beat faster. Or is it slowing down?

Live Music
My brother recently came up to visit. I'm having to play at my sister's wedding for the ceremony and I've created some good patterns to create a fluidity to the presentation but i still would like to sit on some of the chords and have a greater sense of what the wedding will actually be like. Instead of just like the music. I want him to accompany me for a certain part of two. We practiced some things and played out for an evening. We ended up recording this later part of it.

More than once, there is music ringing on the door steps of this basement apartment and there rings many pleasant tones from afar and near. The spanish loud speaker. Truck on the street blaring a loud and ever drowning sound of an alarm down to a little whisper tapping on the brain. The small or large speakers containing a personal selection and even closer an hot wire download into a scape of realism of music created by a like mind. This man i speak about is one of good faith and extra-masterfully producing beyond a pace of our own space and time. In all we can relate. Meaning he has not reached too far to be unknown or unheard. He is Annu. Versus. http://www.mediafire.com/file/0midvmdmmqm/annu-versus.zip

I wanted to start with this selection of music because of it's presence at a time like this. When starting a new blog i ask myself how it will be an adventure in and of myself. I hope to share it more than less with others and not a personal reflection. But it is, i think, very easy to fade away from something like this. Where the computer or the tv or the movies or the books don't matter. Then you step back into the world of common sense and interexchanging ideas and random thoughts and want to write what matters to myself. And in this i will share in and out with others' ideas. To go back and ponder the thought of and to document it's invulnerability. To think for yourself and be thought about.
